This is a woodcut with a mono-type print underneath. It's probably about 18X24 in. This print is of a frilled shark. They're really creepy, and I didn't even know they existed until I made this print. They're prehistoric!
This is a reduction woodcut of a zombie woman and her zombie dog. 18X24 in. This was really fun to do, and I got a lot of people laughing in the print lab as I was working on it.
Self portrait from my first figure painting class. I think this was my midterm project (or somewhere around the middle of the semester). I really enjoyed this painting. Even though I made myself look a little awkward and masculine, I really like the way it turned out. I discovered working on this that I have a weird idea of how I look that I don't think is accurate. Anyway, my favorite part of it is the color.
This painting wasn't supposed to be such a limited palette, but this was the day we had to evacuate the school during our second session working on it because there was a bomb threat. It turned out to be nothing, so when we got back to school I tried to hurry up and get it close enough to finished. I managed to articulate most of his skin tones, but everything else I just rushed through.
